hey stc hornies! (:
syf is finally over...and of course i'm VERY proud of all of you.
although we didn't get what we expected, like we've been told so many times, our spirit is like a gold with honor honor honors band(:
no wait, scratch that.
honestly, i think we're already beyond awards(:
keep up this spirit okay, even though our laoren helen is leaving soon...
we must continue to always be the STCHORNS, no matter what(:
alex darling, i'm so super proud of you for your performance on syf day. although it's your first time and i know you were so freaking out you did your best and it was GREAT. (: keep up the good work, and don't be too sad about helen laoren leaving...you still have pat and nurul and me and vanessa!! (:
pat darling, i'm really sorry that you couldn't be there on that stage with us. i would have given anything for you to be there...but i really want to thank you for all the support that you gave to all of us, and you didn't cry!! so i'm super proud of you. thank you so so so much. jiayou okay, your playing is good, just have confidence in yourself, and play from your heart(:
nurul darling, i'm sorry you couldn't have been there too. i know it's not really fair to you since we kept switching you around, but you understand why right? (: and also i thank you for all your great support and enthusiasm. even if you go back to trumpets (i hope not) you'll always be a hornie too. i'm very proud of you too, and you also must keep up the good work! enjoy your time in band, with whichever section you're in, cos we're always here for you. helen laoren, you're leaving le, and probably don't even know this blog exists but i'm doing this anyway. thank you for everything you've done for me and the section. i know i've given you alot of trouble and stress for the past 3 years and i'm sorry. i'm so happy i got to go through this syf journey with you, and if i could re-live it, i wouldn't change a thing. although you're a laoren now and won't have so much time for us, the hornies will always be waiting for you to welcome you back anytime. no matter how stressed you are at Os, or whatever problems you have, you always have us. Q1. Do I have to go through an audition to get into SSW?
No, audition is not required to get into SSW.
Q2. Do I have to bring my own instrument?
Yes, you will need to bring your own instrument with the exception of Tuba, String Bass and all Percussion instruments.
